At Computer Q & A we
believe you should be able to get free computer advice without the sales
pitch that you find at all the other websites. Here we may
recommend particular things we have been especially happy with in our
day to day operations, but you will not have us trying to ram anything
down your throat (we'll save that for the porn sites). If you use the
POST NOW button above, you will be taken to our forum, where you can
post questions or answer someone else's question. We do request
that you be familiar with what you are talking about if you choose to
answer a post.

Who are we? We are a group of techies who
are tired of seeing the Internet become nothing but a sales pitch.
If someone has a computer question, why should they have to pay a fee to
get it answered? The Internet has costs of operation like all
businesses and we do make money from advertising, but our information is
here at no cost to you. If you choose to support us by visiting
and buying from our sponsors, then that will help us to continue to
provide this information. All people who post to our forum must
have a valid email address, so we can send you occasional offers from
some of our sponsors. We apologize for doing this, but it helps
pay the hosting. Also taking residence on our website are Google
adsense ads. If you see something of interest on those ads, you
can click on the links and not worry about leaving the website.
They will open up in another window.

It is our profound hope that you will find our
computer advice useful, but we warn you that we are not liable for any
damages that may occur if you try to do your own computer repair and
troubleshooting if you do not have the proper training and tools.
We have destroyed quite a few computers in the last 10 plus years as we
tried to fix them. That experience is costly but it does help you
to see why certain precautions are important (like unplugging the
power cord, wearing an antistatic wrist strap, etc.). |
